Marcella is the artistic director of Falling Pieces LLC. A theatrical production company specializing in dance shows, corporate events, live stage events and nightlife entertainment.
Marcella’s passion for dance began at the age of 3. She then continued to study all forms of the art including classical ballet tap, jazz contemporary, street musical theater and gymnastics until she became professional.
While studying exercise science at Rutgers University she was a part of the nationally ranked Rutgers Dance Team.
Her professional career began in 2001 when she became a Knicks City Dancer. During her time dancing for the Knicks, she was featured in Dance Magazine, Gotham Magazine, and Sex and the City. Marcella was a member of the team for 5 seasons total and was co-captain and captain of the team during her final 2 seasons.
Years into her profession career, Marcella began choreographing and directing entertainment for private events. In 2011 she formed Falling Pieces LLC, her own production company and wrote, composed and directed her own off-broadway show, “Union Square”, collaborating with Amy Ryerson and choreographers Brice Mousset and Jon Rua.
Marcella brought her talents to the nightlife world of New York City at EMM Group venue FINALE, where she created and directed specialty performances occurring throughout the night.
Marcella most recently produced French Amour. An interactive show that takes its audience through the stages of relationships. French Amour is a collaboration of Marcella Guarino and Brice Mousset with OUI Danse.
